Report Title: Use something descriptive so users know whether or not they might be interested.
Description: Use text that is easy and interesting to read that clearly connects to the purpose of this site. The purpose of this site is to share how and why the Great Lakes bio-region is or should be seen and governed as a Commons.
Categories: Click on as many categories that best fit your report so that others can find it and it will be filtered with complimentary reports of the same category.
Find Location: Search or use the zoom/move map tools to find the location that best fits your report.
Refine Location Name: Use the address or closest and most descriptive location you feel comfortable using or have access to.
Optional Fields
Modify Date: Change the date information if needed.
Name/Email: Not seen by users of the map but only the site's administrator in case they need to get in touch for more information.
Polygon, Line, and Multiple location Tools: Below the map are 3 options. Simply click the option you want. The pencil + tool allows multiple locations. The polygon and lines tools allow a range of shapes and paths. Simply click once to start drawing and double-click to finish. Use the delete and clear buttons if needed.
News Source or Video Links: Paste as many news or video links as needed that will deepen the user's understanding of the report. Hit the + sign to add another.
Upload Video or Audio or Photo: Browse your computer to select and upload one of these media files. Photos can include a range of expression including: paintings, murals, street art, and any photo of creative work. This site aims to be as visual as possible so always consider adding some content here.
